Fabulous Friday is my way of linking up with Liv Lane’s Bliss List. The bliss list is a chance to celebrate the simple things that brought hope and joy this week. I believe that taking time to focus on these moments only brings more goodness to life and it reminds me that I have so much to be thankful for. It’s a good life! Surprisingly, it’s always the simpliest, smallest things that have the most meaning. Here’s my bliss for the week and welcome to Fabulous Friday!
1. Last Saturday was my third time to go to heated yoga with my sister. I was able to do a pose that I had not been able to do…it was supposed to be good for the digestive track. Personally, I felt like a pretzel, but hey, I did it and I was so proud of myself! Yay me!
2. Spent the rest of Saturday shopping with my girlfriend, Dei. It was so nice to shop for dresses. Yes, I said dresses. Nothing feels more feminine than putting on a dress with some cute little shoes that says “Here I am!” And we both did that!
3. Sunday the kids came home and we celebrated the husband’s birthday by going out to dinner. Best of all, we gave him his birthday gift. His smile says it all…Opening day tickets to the Texas Rangers! What a way to spend Good Friday! As you can see, the actual tickets didn’t arrive in time, so my daughter made her dad this Texas size ticket! Where’s the love button when you need it?
4. The bluebonnets starting poking out this week and they are so lovely! It’s pure happiness to see them sprinkled along side the highways or to see mom’s out there with their kids taking pictures (I remember those days). Every morning driving to work this week, there has been a blur of blue as I pass patches and patches of our state flower. Bluebonnets…a sign that spring has arrived. A time of renewal. Joyous!
So there it is…nothing momentous but everything that meant the world to me this week! If you took the time to read this, take the time to share one thing that was blissful for you this week. And may your bliss multiply!
